The number of computers and users
This is the basis of the calculation: every monitored computer needs updates, protection and monitoring. Users count too, for their accounts and licences.
DeepIT, based in Brussels, bills managed IT per computer per month, under a plan chosen with you. There is no single price that fits every SME: the amount depends mainly on the number of computers and users, servers, backup, the level of security required, Microsoft 365, on-site visits and the hours to be covered.
We do not publish rates: we prefer a written quote, prepared after a free audit of your setup. This page explains how that price is built, so you can compare offers from any IT provider.

Two SMEs of the same size can pay very different amounts. Seven things make the difference.

This is the basis of the calculation: every monitored computer needs updates, protection and monitoring. Users count too, for their accounts and licences.
A server needs more attention than a computer and is counted separately. An SME with everything in Microsoft 365 and no server has a simpler invoice.
Monitoring and restore tests are part of the service; storage of the copy outside your premises depends on the volume of your data and is billed separately.
A practice holding patient data, an accounting firm making payments or an SME that must answer a client subject to NIS2 does not have the same needs as a small office. The higher the level required, the more protection there is to put in place and monitor.
Microsoft 365 licences and computer protection are separate subscriptions, billed line by line. The choice of licence (Business Standard or Premium) changes the price; we make it user by user.
Depending on the plan, on-site support is included or billed on top. Travel does not cost the same in Brussels and outside it: it is written in the quote.
An organisation that needs help outside office hours, for example an emergency service, needs a more complete plan than an office open during the day.
Each month you pay an amount per monitored computer, known in advance. A computer added is added to the invoice; a computer removed comes off it. What is included is written in black and white in the contract.
Support when you call, monitoring and maintenance of computers and servers, security updates, backup monitoring, management of Microsoft 365 accounts, and a single point of contact with your other suppliers. Depending on the plan: on-site work.
Licences (Microsoft 365, computer protection), backup storage, hardware, and projects outside routine follow-up (new server, office move, migration): they appear on separate lines or in a separate quote.
Details of each plan are on our plans.
For the self-employed, a small team or a single-practitioner practice. Remote support and IT management, basic protection. See also IT for independent professionals.
For SMEs and practices with several computers. The plan we recommend most often.
For larger or multi-site organisations with urgent needs. Unlimited remote and on-site support, extended hours for urgent help.
What to check in any managed IT contract: what does a managed IT contract include, and what should you check before signing?
It depends mainly on the number of computers and servers, the level of security, Microsoft 365, on-site visits and the hours to be covered. At DeepIT, in Brussels, it is a plan per computer per month, plus licences and backup storage. The exact amount comes from a written quote, after a free audit.
Because a price shown without knowing your setup would be either too high or incomplete. We prefer a written quote that states exactly what is and is not included.
Check whether Microsoft 365 licences are included in the price per computer or billed separately: it varies between providers, and without that detail the comparison is skewed. Then check whether on-site work is included, what work outside the plan costs, how long the commitment is, and what the stated response time means: work starts, or the problem is solved.
Not necessarily. By the hour, you pay when something breaks, and nobody watches between two failures. With a plan, prevention is included, and some failures never happen. The right choice depends on your equipment: that is also what the free audit is for.
It follows the number of monitored computers. If your usage changes a lot, we review the plan with you.

MFA, backups, a crisis plan, past incidents: what a cyber insurer checks, and why one false answer can void the whole policy.
A 10-person SME in Belgium needs a solid security baseline that someone follows up, not big-company tools. What you need, what you don't, what to ask.
